Kayaking gives a new and quiet way to approach birds.
Paddling is easy and everyone gets the hang of it in a matter of minutes. Combining kayaking with the fascinating tour to Bird Island Vigur, bird watchers and nature lovers won't be disappointed.

The tour starts at the airport on the kayak and you paddle your way through bird colonies by the coastline with many species of ducks and waders. The kayaking takes 2-3 hours and is fitted to individual capabilities.

When onshore after the all the paddling, passengers will find themselves close to the towns centre, to be exact in Nedstikaupstadur where the maritime museum is and many of the oldest houses in Iceland.
